Meet in the Middle is suspended this week, Oct. 19, due to MEA.
Children’s Sunday school class is suspended this coming Sunday, Oct. 23, due to MEA. Class will resume Oct. 30.
Adult Class Steve Braden leads a class based on the PBS Frontline series God in America. Class meets following worship and will be available online via Zoom, by clicking the link at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84136883066; or, you are welcome to gather in the conference room. The videos (YouTube) and a study guide (PBS) are available for free online. See Steve with questions.
Confirmation Class will be for 7th and 8th graders, on the 2nd Sunday of the month after church. Next class is November 13. Note: we will also plan for a retreat in March or April.
It’s time to think about Christmas! Greens, Poinsettias, and plant cards will be sold to raise funds for our community garden. The ONLINE ONLY sale ends October 20. To access the site and place an order for your fundraiser group:

FROM COMMUNITY SERVICE: Warning — holiday CREEP has affected Armful of Love!!
Armful of Love, offered through 360 Communities to provide support for families during the holidays, will continue to provide GIFT CARDS ONLY to qualifying families, so they can do their own shopping for gifts and holiday meals. The deadline for delivering cards to 360 Communities is November 5! So, time to get in a holiday gift-giving state of mind. Spirit of Life has committed to providing $500 of retail cards, and $250 in grocery cards. We will piggy-back onto Halloween and collect your gift card donations during the Trunk or Treat event on October 30.
– Retail gift cards should be from Target, Walmart, or Amazon
– Grocery gift cards should be from Aldi or Cub
– All gift cards should be in denominations that are multiples of $25 ($25, $50, $75, $100).
– Please ensure each gift card clearly states the value
– Add the value in dark colored sharpie pen if this is not printed on each card
– Please attach a gift receipt to each of the gift cards
– Tape gift receipts directly and securely on the gift card. Unsecured envelopes/sleeves can be removed.
– There must be one receipt per gift card. Make copies as needed so each gift card has a receipt.
Trunk or Treat!
When: Sunday, 10/30/2022
– Immediately after worship (approximately 11am)

Who: Anyone of any age!
How (what do you need): If you want treats come with a Halloween bucket and a costume,
if you want to distribute candy come with your car, some candy and some decorations.
-Prizes will be awarded to best trunks and to best trick-or-treat kids costumes!
