We welcome our speaker, Rev. Dr. Tiffany DeTienne, a Community Engagement Specialist for CWS (Church World Service).

Church World Service (CWS) is a humanitarian organization dedicated to providing sustainable solutions to global poverty and displacement. Through partnerships with churches an communities worldwide, CWS delivers emergency relief, advocates for refugees and asylum seekers, and helps to create sustainable solutions to hunger and poverty around the world.

In her role at CWS, Tiffany engages with communities and congregations in Mid-America to share about the work that CWS is doing locally and globally and help individuals learn how they can get involved.

Tiffany lives in Lawrence, Kansas, with her husband, Britt, and their dog, Liz. She is an ordained Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of
Christ).
