Children & Youth

Nursery: We offer a professionally-staffed and well-equipped nursery available throughout our Sunday morning schedule. However, Infants and Toddlers are always welcome in worship services and the life of our congregation.

Children’s Sunday School: We offer Sunday School for children from preschool to 5th grade on most Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 am. At 10:15, the children come to the worship service for a Children’s Sermon (sometimes with puppets), and then join their families for the remainder of worship. Please contact Christine for the current Sunday School Schedule (952-210-6412 or christine@christinesfloraltouch.com).

Wednesday Meet in the Middle: Our M&M program is a highlight of the week! Kids meet on Wednesdays at 4:30 for snack, fellowship, games, music, crafts, and outdoor fun when weather permits. At 5:15 we focus on a scripture lesson and discussion. At 6 pm we are joined by families, youth group members, and other church groups for a meal. Please contact Christine for the current M&M Schedule (952-210-6412 or christine@christinesfloraltouch.com).

The above programs are at no cost to families.

Throughout the year our children assist in worship services (typically the second Sunday of each month), provide special music offerings, and share a Christmas program in December. We also host a fun and exciting Kids' Camp the second week of August.

Adult Education & Fellowship
Sunday School: We offer periodic adult education classes following worship. Recent topics have included How the New Testament Was Formed, Brian McLaren’s A New Kind of Christianity, and First Light (Marcus Borg & John Dominic Crossan).

Men’s Bible Study: Our men’s Bible study currently meets twice a month at the church, as part of our Wednesday Meet in the Middle activities.

Merry Old SoLs: The Merry Old SoLs (Spirit of Lifers) meets monthly at the homes of members for coffee, conversation, and wonderful refreshments.
Serving & Promoting Justice

Our ministry efforts include seeking to end hunger through a variety of initiatives, including supporting the Rosemount Family Resource Center food shelf with food drives throughout the year and donations of fresh produce from our church garden in the summer; maintaining a Little Free Food Pantry on our property; offering garden plots for rent to neighbors; and participating in the multi- church effort to coordinate the South of the River CROP Hunger Walk annually.

We also participate in the annual Armful of Love program sponsored by 360 Communities, and the ISD 196 school supplies drive.

We have established an anti-racism lending library in the sanctuary and offer opportunities for education and discussion on a variety of social justice issues.
