Confirmation
What is it?
Confirmation at Spirit of Life is a year long process that occurs every other year. Students in the class are generally in the 7th and 8th grades but there are often older students as well. The complete calendar will be added to this page when it is finalized.
Confirmation at Spirit of Life has 7 main components:
- Regular Worship and Sunday School Attendance
- Participation in the youth ministry of Spirit of Life
- Wednesday Evening Classes (6-7PM)
- In Depth Engagement with the Bible
- Developing a life-long Christian mentor relationship with a spiritually mature member of Spirit of Life.
- Successful Completion of an Expression of Faith they will share with the gathered community at Spirit of Life and with their friends and family.
- Participation in a Summer Service Trip.
Who is it For?
As you see, confirmation at Spirit of Life is a significant commitment designed to make a significant and lasting impact on everyone involved. Anyone who desires to explore faith in Jesus Christ and is willing to commit to full participation is welcome to participate. So, no, you don’t have to be a member of the church to partcipate in confirmation.
