Mission Trip 2008

The 2008 Youth Mission Trip is now official!

Buckeye State Workcamp

Baltimore, OH - June 28 - July 6, 2008

The Village of Baltimore is a small town community just east of Columbus, Ohio. Once an important part of the Ohio-Erie Canal system, many people now commute to Columbus for their employment while others work locally with farming as their primary occupation. The area you’ll serve in is made up of several small communities (Thurston, Pleasantville, Millersport and Baltimore)… each with elderly or disabled residents in great need of your help. The people of these small communities will welcome your coming and working together to spruce up the local area. You can bring your children to help raise the hearts of this village!

Cities and attractions nearby include Columbus Zoo, Fort Rapids Indoor Waterpark Resort, Center of Science and Industry (COSI), Buckeye Lake, Longaberger Basket Company, Hocking Hills State Park, Ohio Historical Center, German Village, Wayne National Forest, and Cincinnati.

This year promises to be the largest group we have ever taken on a trip. Commitment forms are going out with details as to the trip.
